Michael Malone, director of GrafikaLinks says the appointment will enable the company to service its Sydney-based customers directly, therefore providing a better service as well as establishing a firm foothold in the digital market.
He says, “Bruce was perfect for the job as he has more than 30 years experience in the industry. His appointment will enable us to further develop our customer support in Sydney.
“While we have done well servicing Sydney from here in Canberra we wanted to up the level and found people respond better to a local representative.”
Malone continues, “Technology is changing the face of printing, particularly in the digital systems and we needed someone of Bruce’s calibre and knowledge to take us into those markets.”
Malone adds that the results of the appointment will dictate the company’s approach to expansions in other states in the future, with Melbourne next on the agenda. He adds that all other states are currently supported by a strong distributor network.
He says, “We plan to develop direct support throughout Australia but we want to grow slowly and not make any mistakes.”
