Commenting on the DW Renzmann take over Tom Ralph, managing director of Graph-Pak says the move compliments the company’s already blue chip portfolio and shows further growth for both parties in the Australasian region.
Ralph says, “Renzmann has a very large installation base in press rooms that are operating gravure, offset, flexographic technology as well as industries for paint and solvent. These installations are found in the largest and most prestige printers both in Australia and New Zealand.”
Also in the news, the signature collator from Col-Tec purchased by an undisclosed customer will be fitted to handle up to 350 x 350mm signatures of single sheets.
According to Graph-Pak, the machine which will be delivered in April, will operate deep pile feeders and have the capability to hand feed as well as featuring an automated stacker and in-line crash folder.
Ralph continues, “This was a fantastic start for us in 2009. The order was placed and despot received within the first four hours of our office opening to the trade this year.”
He adds, “I see this as a sign of confidence returning the Australian market after last year’s last quarter where capital equipment sales slowed down by around 50 per cent due to the global down turn.”
