HP calling on entrants for digital print awards

According to HP, following on from competitions in Singapore and Beijing, this year’s awards will be held in Seoul, Korea, in conjunction with Dscoop Asia 2010.

Winners from the 20 different categories will be recognised at a gala dinner on September 7 in Seoul. Highly qualified leaders from the graphics arts, packaging and media industry from around the world will judge the entries based on:

  • Degree of innovation and creativity
  • Marketing appeal
  • Best use of digital technology
  • Paper selection
  • Best use of ink and colour
  • Finishing and packaging
  • Overall aesthetics

HP continues that participating in the APJ HP Digital print Awards 2010 opens up new business opportunities by allowing print service providers (PSPs) to showcase their capabilities in digital printing. PSPs will also have the chance to win prizes in recognition of their most impressive prints.

The 2010 Awards feature 11 Commercial and 9 Industrial Press Award Categories. The closing date for entries is July 23, with winners to be informed by August 4.
