HP calls for Australia’s best Indigo users to compete at Digital Print Awards

The event, which runs in conjunction with Dscoop Asia 2011, features 13 different categories spanning industrial and commercial printing.

World leaders from the graphic arts, packaging and media industry will be on hand to judge the international entries based on innovation, marketing appeal, use of technology, paper, ink and colour selection, as well as finishing and packaging.

A representative from HP said that the number of local entrants was increasing every year.

“It is fantastic to see that we are doing world’s best practice here in Australia and New Zealand, and although entry numbers from ANZ are limited, these entries are consistently winning,” said the representative.

The 2010 awards featured two big winners from Australia with Group Momentum scoring the Environmental Impact award and NPA winner Picpress topping the Special Processes category.

HP is encouraging Indigo users to apply before 20 July.
