The company debuted the HP Scitex FB7500, FB950 and TJ8550 printers at the SGIA ’08 show in the USA last week. The FB7500 (pictured) is the first printer in the HP Scitex range to feature the new X2 printhead technology that was unveiled at drupa earlier this year, whilst the HP Scitex FB950 features a spectrophotometer and an onboard camera.

“The release of these new printers further enhances our range of end-to-end solutions and provides our customers with even greater opportunities to maximise growth potential in digital print across a wide range of applications,” said Shane Lucas, director of HP Graphic Arts South Pacific.

The FB950 Printer will be available for purchase worldwide on November 15, 2008, with the TJ8550 available in February 2009 and the FB7500 in May 2009.
