HP opens entries for Indigo competition

The company says that the awards aim to recognise outstanding achievements and innovations in the print and packaging industries across Asia and the Pacific. After successful competitions in Singapore, Beijing and Seoul, HP will host this year’s awards in Singapore in conjunction with Dscoop Asia 2011.

Organisers will notify winners from the 13 different categories prior to an award dinner, which will showcase the winning jobs. HP says that highly qualified leaders from the graphic arts, packaging and media industry from around the world will judge the entries based on degree of innovation and creativity; marketing appeal; best use of digital technology; paper selection; best use of ink and colour; finishing and packaging and overall aesthetics.

Entries close July 20, with the finalists informed by August 5, and results announced on September 25. HP says that participating in the APJ HP digital print awards 2011 opens up new business opportunities by allowing print service providers to showcase their capabilities in digital printing.
