HP secures franchise-wide deal for Designjets at Sign-A-Rama

The group currently has 88 franchises, including 23 in New Zealand operating as Speedy Signs.

Brian Pretorius, director of operations in Australia, said the L25500 was the “best option available” for future franchisees.

“It is important that Sign-A-Rama employs the latest technology to provide a fast, high-quality service that meets the instant signage platform. In this environment speed is critical, and with shifts in the marketplace in relation to environmental options, having a green offering has also become commercially necessary.

“Factoring all these aspects, the HP Designjet L25500 proved to be the best option available.”

Pretorius added that Sign-A-Rama has already trialled the machine at the franchise in Joondalup, Perth.

“We put the printer through its paces producing a broad range of signage including vehicle wraps,” he said.

Sign-A-Rama added that it was difficult to tell when the next store would be opened, but said there were no new openings planned for the near future.
