Hyde Park set to close as buyers say no

Clifton Hall is overseeing the administration of the company, Simon Miller, director, Clifton Hall told Australian Printer, “Unfortunately the administrators were unable to sell the business as a going concern despite interest shown in Hyde Park.”

Hyde Park Press – which has been trading since 1930 – went into voluntary administration in Ocotber after a tough quarter which impacted severely on cash flow.

Mason Gray Strange will be conducting an auction of the plant and equipment on 12 February 2013. Hyde Park Press equipment includes; three Heidelberg Speedmasters (a five colour CD 74, five colour 102 and a two colour 102), a range of Canon and Océ digital equipment and a full bindery.

Barry Davis, managing director, Hyde Park Press was unavailable for comment.
