Image Products formed in staff buyout

This also allows the new company to act as agents for other associated companies. Distribution rights have been negotiated with Hahnemuhle (Germany) for its range of fine art and photo papers, and 3P (Germany) on its range of inkjet fabrics for both solvent and thermal inkjet printers. Other distribution rights include DuPont’s (USA) range of fusion inks, currently for Encad and soon for other printer manufacturers, offering the market a third party choice on inks for their printers.

Ross Coffey, Image Products managing director, says, “It made sense to acquire the business from the US parent, as even though we have traded here successfully over the past seven years as InteliCoat and before that as Rexam, we needed more independence to bring on other products into the company portfolio to offer our dealers around the country a better service and a wider range for this very quickly changing market”

Other distribution rights are currently being negotiated, and the new company should have their new web site on line in the next few months. The company has offices in all states of Australia as well as New Zealand.
