According to Inca, hundreds of companies have invested in Inca Eagle, Columbia, Spyder and Onset printers since 2000 and are producing high quality display products that are in demand around the world.
The company also outlines that to showcase what companies and their Inca digital presses can produce, five Inca Digital Excellence Award categories have been chosen to highlight the potential of digital print including: POS/POP, Display Graphics, Décor, Decoration/Speciality Products and Special Effects.
A panel of independent judges will be looking for high-quality graphics that exceed expectations for creativity and delivery.
Inca’s customers will be invited to enter the awards by submitting production jobs in the market between February 1, 2009 and January 31, 2010, with the closing date for entries set at April 30.
Winners of each category will obtain a trip to FESPA Munich 2010 and to receive their Award at Inca’s 10th anniversary celebration where and overall award winner will be announced.
Also in the news, Inca outlines that at Ipex it demonstrate an enhancement to its Onset S20 UV inkjet flatbed printer on the Fujifiilm stand. The company will unveil an expanded gamut capability using Uvijet Ultratone ink to increase quality perception.
This, coupled with Inca’s use of 28 picolitre drop print heads, produces smooth colour transitions reducing the graininess of light colours and producing smooth skin tones, according to the company.
