Printers from all corners of the industry gathered in Melbourne on Friday night to honour their craft at the 2024 Real Media Awards.
The annual gala showcased the achievements of printers of various sizes and specialties, all eager to share their successes with clients.
IVE Group stood out with remarkable accomplishments in direct mail, print, catalogue, and publishing categories, earning numerous awards across different categories.
Other commercial printers also showcased their craftsmanship, with Rawson Print & Packaging Company, Conversify, MCC Labels, Hero Print, Genii, Adams Print, Print & Sign Co, Seed Print Group, Blueprint Australia, Quality Print, Spectrum Print, and Southern Impact all receiving accolades for their excellence in quality and execution.
The awards celebrated a range of achievements in letterbox marketing, publishing, direct mail, point-of-sale, and print marketing, reflecting the high standards of craft across Australia.
This was the 31st edition of the awards, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre to a room of more than 350 people in attendance.
Kellie Northwood, CEO of the Visual Media Association, applauded the event, “The Real Media Awards exemplify the industry’s unity, bringing together brands, agencies, retailers, printers, publishers, and distributors to celebrate collaborative efforts in driving effectiveness across the media channels we represent of which print plays a large part in the modern marketing mix.”
Matt Aitken, managing director at IVE Group, expressed pride in the recognition received for their diverse printing and distribution work over the past two years.
“I’d like to thank all our staff and customers, for their dedication, our clients for their support, and the Real Media Awards team for organising this fantastic event to honour our industry,” said Aitken.
Northwood extended her congratulations to all finalists and winners, emphasising the competitiveness of this year’s awards.
“I congratulate all who entered this year, especially those who reached finalist status or claimed a win. It is a remarkable achievement to be proud of. As printers, we rely on our retail, brand, and agency clients to thrive, and they, in turn, depend on the skills and expertise of their print and mail-house partners to bring their campaigns to life,” said Northwood.
The judging panel comprised of expert printers, suppliers, retailers, brands, and agency professionals, ensuring a rigorous evaluation process for the entries. Sponsors included HP, Spicers, Media Super, Ricoh, IVE Group, SBM, Southern Impact, Currie Group, UPM, Australia Post and Ball & Doggett.
