The Twin-Cut is an innovative die-cutting system with magnetic cylinders that allows accomplishing all formats, using only two pairs of magnetic cylinders without any magnetic cylinder replacement.

The rotation of the die-cutting cylinders is performed at a constant speed during the cutting phase and in acceleration in the rest phase on both cylinders alternatively. The unit is provided with automatic register control system, standard controlled-tension waste-removal system and central adjustment control from the control panel.

The unit can work with only one interchangeable magnetic cylinder like traditional system, or with double alternate cylinder with Twin-Cut system.

The introduction of the Twin-Cut unit will help in speeding up and simplifying in-line production of labels and folding carton: thus eliminating the need to buy more magnetic cylinders for the different formats and time otherwise wasted to change the cylinders and allowing the fulfilment of demands in very short times, only inserting two magnetic dies which can be programmed and synchronised from control panel.

The Twin-Cut unit will be demonstrated at drupa to show set-up, register and starting of production operations.
