Insolvency and cloud security webinars coming

Protecting your business from defaulting customers, and cloud technology are the focus of two PIAA webinars coming up in March and April.

Printers without measures in place to protect themselves should a major customer become insolvent are encouraged to check out the Better Business webinar on Wednesday April 9, at 1pm.

Mark Smith, NSW sales manager for National Credit Insurance brokers will discuss debt recovery, why it is important for a company to insure their debt ledger, and what can happen if they fail to do so.

He will also offer tips on how to chase up bad debtors to keep your cash flow optimised.

Smith is a seven-year veteran of the credit insurance industry, partnering with SME and multinational companies to find innovation solutions in the protection of credit risk.

Topics include: What is credit insurance? How does credit insurance work? And, will credit insurance suit my business?

A webinar on understanding Adobe’s Creative Cloud – how it works and how it can be used to expand the services of print businesses – will be led by Matt Davis on Wednesday March 26, at 1pm.

Davis, manager of a business consulting with Adobe Digital Media ANZ, has 29 years of experience in trade graphic reprography, and global agency production, and was previously North American production operations director for Omnicom’s global production brand, Gutenberg Networks.
