J.L. Lennard to distribute Toyo on east coast

The agreement furthers a relationship established over two decades ago, when J.L. Lennard distributed Toyo Ink products prior to Toyo establishing their own manufacturing facilities in Melbourne in 1987.

“The appointment is a result of Toyo Ink Australia’s regular reviews of market distribution channels, which identified the benefits to our brands of working more closely with a key group of distributors who have the market penetration and expertise to deliver Toyo Ink products to Australian printers,” said Toyo Ink Australia’s general manager of sheetfed, Alan Naylor (pictured second from left).

J.L. Lennard general manager Tony Colella (pictured second from right) said he was pleased with the deal, “as Toyo Ink goes from strength-to-strength in Australia and complements its own leadership with our strong network of service and sales facilities.”

“Toyo Ink customers enjoy the best of both worlds in that Toyo Australia supplies a combination of Australian-manufactured and imported Japanese technologies to satisfy the wide range of customer needs,” he added. “Toyo’s product range, including environmentally-friendly soy-based products, is constantly evolving to meet and exceed the needs of customers as equipment speeds, pre-press conditions and post-production process demands change.”
