According to JL Lennard general manager Norm Fizell, this three-ply compressible printing blanket offers superior dot sharpness and solid printing, outstanding sheet release and excellent ink transfer. The blanket is also said to offer high impact resistance for rapid smash recovery and longer life, minimum gauge loss, reduced adhesion to paper dust and easy cleaning.
Also on display was the newly released Toray CTP Waterless Plate RG5, which offers lower make-ready time and paper wastage than traditional wet offset printing plates. The RG5 has been developed specifically for Screen’s PlateRite, Fuji’s T-6000/T-9000, Heidelberg Topsetter, Creo Trandsetter and Lotem, Luscher Xpose and Presstek Pearlsetter series platesetters.
