Kayell Australia has been appointed the distributor of X-Rite and Rutherford Graphic Products after a partnership between X-Rite and Rutherford was revealed at drupa.
Kayell will now be the exclusive dealer of the Rutherford range of automated ink key control solutions, the eXactLoop, IntelliPress, IntelliPress Pro and IntelliPack.
David Stead, sales manager of X-Rite Australia says the Rutherford close loop systems are a retrofitted solution, suitable for all print and packaging markets and compatible with 90 per cent of presses currently in the marketplace.
“In the sites we have visited that use the close loop solution, they are seeing the returns on the investment in a matter of months, rather than years,” Stead says.
“Anyone who does not have close loop who wants to reduce make-ready and reduce waste, they can integrate an X-Rite Rutherford system into their press.”
Commenting on the appointment, Kayell Australia sales director for graphic arts, Andreas Johansson adds, “With the Rutherford close loop colour system, the user can expect a fast ROI, we cannot wait to help our customers cut their production costs with better quality and efficiency.”
