As joint sponsors of the – your passport to world colour tour – Kayell and Epson say they have combined to offer the easiest, most competent route to obtaining ISO compliance and FOGRA Process Standard Offset (PSO) Certification.
Robert Gatto, director of Kayell says, “With so many terms being thrown at printers, no wonder some are confused as to what printing to ISO standards is all about.”
He continues, “ISO, PSO, FOGRA, 12647 – we are on top of all of them with our suite of ISO compliant products. Epson proofers, GMG and Epson proofing media, GMG proofing and press software, X-Rite measuring instruments, GTI colour viewing systems, Eizo monitors and, most importantly, the expertise and training to bring it all together.”
According to FOGRA, Andreas Kraushaar’s message from February 24 to 26 will be that printing to ISO standards is a profitable and competitive tool and not just a technical indulgence.
Gatto continues, “The printers we are already working with on ISO are experiencing a much higher level of customer satisfaction, fewer re-runs, lower wastage and happier press crews. This all translates to the bottom line. Kayell’s aim is to take the pain away from a printer’s ISO program and make it structured, easy and above all repeatable through training of staff.”
Kayell offers three ISO solution levels, tailored to the printer’s needs, including:
- Level one: Equipment and software supply and training
- Level two: Equipment and software supply plus training and implementation to print to ISO 12467-2
- Level three: As above plus achieving FOGRA PSO Certification
Gatto concludes, “Australian and New Zealand printers are faced with challenging times to compete both domestically and with offshore printers. I firmly believe proofing and printing to ISO Standards delivers a very significant marketing advantage and we are passionate about helping our customers implement it successfully.”
