The Melbourne event is this Thursday August 16, with an afternoon session running 2pm- 5pm, repeated in an evening session 7pm – 10pm. Location is the Kodak showroom at 181 Victoria Rd, Collingwood. Kodak's Graphic Communications Group says printers will see the only unified web-to-print workflow solution that drives digital and conventional environments.
Each seminar includes details and new feature demos of Prinergy 4 and Prinergy Evo 4, Storefront, as well as future directions. The seminar also highlights a new benchmark in workflow automation featuring the new Adobe PDF print engine, native transparency handling, job notes, custom fields, online real-time dashboard, Storefront and rules-based automation.
As the new central hub for commercial, packaging and newspaper printers Prinergy 4 stores and shares up-to-the minute job information and creates a unified workflow. For digital and conventional production environments, the Prinergy 4 system can include digital
print automation capabilities. It also supports variable print data file submission to Kodak Nexpress digital production colour presses.
The system can automatically read job intent, select a manufacturing plan, and route jobs to the appropriate press. The Prinergy 4 system enables users to easily expand their solutions to offer customers a complete Kodak web-to-print solution.
