USA manufactured Kompac Technology products are coming onto the Australian market, with Melbourne-based Australian Graphic Servicing (AGS) the exclusive agents for Kompac products in Australia and New Zealand.

Ross Gilberthorpe, equipment sales and marketing manager, AGS, says “Kompac products are unlike anything else on the market. It is a worldwide company based in the USA that has been in the industry for many years, and has reinvented itself by creating a whole range of coating systems for both offset and digital printers.

“A lot of printers might need to go from one coating to another, say, aqueous to UV coating. The time change for this would normally be up to an hour, but with Kompac systems it can be done in five minutes. For a digital printer with short runs that might require different coatings for different jobs, the Kompac coating systems can be changed quickly, saving a lot of time” says Gilberthorpe.

“Consistency and quality when coating is important, and this is what sets Kompac apart”, says Gilberthorpe.

AGS says it will distribute the full range of Kompac consumables and spare parts in addition to the new Kompac coating systems.
