Konica Minolta debuts AccurioJet 30000 in world first showing at China Print

Konica Minolta has taken the wraps off its AccurioJet 30000 with the first global showing of the press at China Printing Beijing.

This launch follows Konica Minolta’s launch of the AccurioJet 60000 at drupa 2024, as the flagship B2 inkjet press model. Between the AccurioJet 60000 and the AccurioJet 30000, printing companies can select the model that best suits their needs, thereby accelerating a full-scale shift from analog printing to digital printing.

The AccurioJet 30000 is a successor model to the AccurioJet KM-1/KM-1e series, which has been widely acclaimed in the market since its release in 2016 and has sold over 350 units worldwide.

The B2 HS-UV inkjet press aims to help printing companies expand their business and improve their processes as it offers new functions that improve productivity while continuing to use the proprietary HS-UV ink, which is used for the AccurioJet KM-1/KM-1e series.

The AccurioJet 30000 reduces the RIP time, enabling printing without interruption even when the data processing load is high. By utilising the Pre-RIP function, RIP for print jobs can be performed the night before or during idle time, eliminating the waiting time during printing and improving productivity.

Unlike general water-based inkjet, the proprietary HS-UV ink does not require a drying process, enabling automatic double-sided printing and smooth transition to post-processing without downtime.

Made for short-run jobs, the four-colour AccurioJet 30000 uses Dot Freeze Technology, which reduces the dot shape distortion and colour blurring compared to water-based inkjet.

It also enables direct printing on various types of paper without special precoating, including glossy or uneven paper and plastic media without impairing the quality or texture of the printing media surface.

The AccurioJet 30000 is also equipped with Quality Inspection Unit, which reduces the burden of inspections and improves quality, as it performs automatic total inspection with high accuracy during printing.

Konica Minolta China sales division head Steel Li said, “We are very excited to show this AccurioJet 30000 for the first time globally at China Print. It is made to enhance productivity for printers and is very relevant to the China market.

“The printing industry in China is one of the biggest in the world. Digital transformation, variable data, and personalisation are increasingly becoming demands of customers in China, so we need to create machines to cater to these needs.

“The AccurioJet 30000 is a high-quality digital press for various business domains including commercial printing, labelling, embellishment, package printing, and textile printing, which lets printing companies expand their businesses.”

Konica Minolta will roll out the AccurioJet 30000 in stages around the world in the coming months.
