Konica Minolta reaches milestone with Law in Order

The company says it has only recently made a foray into the digital production printing business. David Procter, national marketing manager at Konica Minolta Australia, says, “We are excited about how well the local market has responded to our product offering and how quickly this has become a major part of our business. Konica Minolta places great emphasis on this area globally and we are proud of the inroads we have made here.”

Established in 1999, Law In Order supplies document processing services to the Australian legal industry, with fully equipped bureaus in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offering complete hard copy processing and electronic services 24/7. It provides specialised technology solutions to over 1300 law firms, corporations and government agencies nationally.

Sean Southon, director Law In Order, says that reliability was a key factor in the decision to select Konica Minolta machines. He says, “Our decision came down to the fact that Konica Minolta machines have all the right features for our business model. One of the most useful features, and one absolutely essential for legal work, is the ability to print the full image area of documents. This means that copies of prints done on Konica Minolta include all notations and page numbers on the original documents – an important legal requirement. Our customers cannot afford to have anything, however small, omitted from a document.”

Konica Minolta says the bizhub Pro 1051 has application perfect for long and short print runs, featuring robust design and advanced precision print technology for offset print quality and high volume output, according to the company. Its sustainability features include Konica Minolta’s proprietary polymerised toner, Simitri HD, using biomass as one of its components. Konica Minolta says this makes it CO2-neutral during recycling. It adds that the toner enables fusing at lower temperatures, reducing energy consumption, further reducing related CO2 emissions.
