Konica Minolta is sponsoring this year’s Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) Pink Lady Luncheon, which is being held across five cities over four weeks.

Konica Minolta says it is proud to support BCNA as one of its four key charity partners, and part of the company’s commitment to doing its part in making a better, more sustainable community. The partnership with BCNA is continuing to grow since it started in 2011.

David Cooke, managing director, Konica Minolta Australia says, “This year as part of its expanding corporate social responsibility strategy, Konica Minolta Australia has increased its employee volunteer leave allowance to two days per year. We hope that many will choose to use this leave to support the luncheon as event volunteers. 

“We are proud to partner with BCNA to continue to support its Pink Lady luncheon series, as it goes from strength to strength each year. The atmosphere at the events is always genuine; good people wanting to have a small impact where they can.” 

This year some Konica Minolta employees are also participating in other fundraising activities for the charity including the Sydney Running Festival and Ride Daylesford. 

The BCNA Pink Lady luncheon series provides an opportunity to support Australians affected by breast cancer. Speakers at this year’s luncheons include: Dame Quentin Bryce, Ita Buttrose, Rosemary Vilgan, CEO, QSuper, Nick Greiner and Christine Holgate, CEO, Blackmores and soon to be CEO of AusPost.

The next luncheon will be held in Adelaide tomorrow, Melbourne on October 11 and in Canberra October 25.
