Kookaburra Big Picture retires; puts machines up for auction

Victoria-based large format digital printing company Kookaburra Big Picture is retiring from business and has placed its wide format printing and sign making machines up for auction.

The company was established in 1997, operating out of a small shop in Brunswick, Victoria with one Encad Nova jet printer. Its printer evolution has progressed through five stages of digital printers.

Some of the machines that it has got on auction include a Mimaki UCJV 300-160 UV wide format printer, an EFI VUTEk QS-2000 printer, as well as an Epson Pro GS6000 machine.

Other gear that it has on auction include laminators, banner welders, a broadbent compressor, eyelet machines, a Steelmaster guillotine, NeoIt straight line cutters, a Toyota 2.5T LPG forklift truck and roll and sheet stock and racks.

The company has serviced a commercial and trade market with a product range that includes many types of banners, clear and white adhesive vinyls, reverse vinyls, cling films, form cut options, display boards, posters, backlit films, fine art canvas, fabric prints, and other products.

The auction is now online and closes from 11am today.

To bid, interested applicants will need to register to Gollant Auctioneers. A 16 per cent Buyers Premium and GST applies to the knockdown price of each lot.
