Krause workflow on show

KIM JDF is the High-End imposition solution for the preparation of templates for the Creo Prinergy Workflow. According to Krause, it improves the printer’s day to day work on preparing imposition schemes with Krause KIM especially for complicated layouts and finishing jobs.

The output via JDF interface into the Creo Prinergy workflow allows printers to use the High-End imposition program with the most comprehensive features for VLF and WEB imposition schemes available on the market.

Krause is entering the Small Format market for maximum sheet size of four pages for output. “This is because we got lots of enquiries for KIM PDF from small format printers,” says Stefan Beke Bramkamp, product manager CTP at Krause.

“Everyone likes the way KIM is working but in this market segment a different price range is necessary. Now we can address the needs of this huge dynamic market and the customers can benefit from the comfortable way of imposition with KIM PDF and the use of all KIM PDF features within their format.”

Krause’s drupa presence was based around the idea that their customers will have access to profitability and success with the most economical CTP devices provided by Œstrong violet technologyj‚ and workflow automation realised by JDF.

Other products on show included commercial and newspaper workflows that allow flexible integration of existing components and output devices (KIM PDF, KIM JDF, Krause Navigo, Krause JetNet). In addition, the company presented platesetters with strong violet laser technology that allow most economic CTP production on polymer or silver based plates for all sizes.
