Experience and innovation from Krause

Krause expects its new LaserStar Edition will set new standards of efficiency and operator friendliness for CTP systems in the commercial printing segment.

The modern design and new Laser technology used enable users to expose polymer plates of different brands at highly adjustable resolutions with an unequalled efficiency at lowest production costs.

New for imposition professionals is Krause’s KIM PDF, version 4.0 imposition software. KIM PDF operates exclusively on a native PDF base without the necessity for conversions into internal data formats.

This is a well established product with more than 1000 installations. The new version increases the flexibility in application and can be integrated in various workflow solutions.

Krause also supplies the newspaper production segment, with its high speed LS Jet CTP exposure lines. At drupa, these lines will be shown with the latest Violet Laser technology increasing output capacity at lower cost.

The increasing automation and ever rising complexity of safe and efficient newspaper production require greater transparency of individual production steps.

Krause says that newspaper quality management will be considerably improved and standardised by its PQN (production quality newspapers) module.

All Krause CTP exposure lines are now PQN certified to correspond with improved production and quality standarts. The net visualiser records all relevant process data of the exposure unit and makes them availably in real time to the network and their visualisation. This ensures data transparency of the entire process. It permits preventive actions for the case of any deviations from the defined real input data.
