Kwik Kopy awards ‘Franchise of the Year’ to Melbourne CBD store

The Melbourne CBD franchise secured the award due to its success in “meeting or exceeding selected key performance indicators (KPIs)” as well its contributions to the company and to charity.

Moonee Ponds store owner Mike Beuermann (right), who previously worked as a chief executive for Advanced Hair Studio, said he was enjoying financial success with Kwik Kopy.

Beuermann bought the franchise six years ago and said winning the award was the highlight of his career.

“I wanted to work for myself and considered various options,” he said.

“The diversity of the work of a Kwik Kopy Centre was challenging, interesting and exciting so I made the leap.

“I would have been happy to simply get close to what I had been earning previously as a CEO but I have actually doubled my personal income.”

David Bell (left), managing director of Kwik Kopy Australia, said: “In a few short years, Mike has created one of the most successful and admired businesses in the system.”

“He has a strong focus on his clients and has developed particularly strong relationships with them. As a result, in five years he has added $1 million to his business,” said Bell.
