Lanier launches new print solutions

Held at the ANZ Stadium with a trio of Footy Legends hosting the event, some 70 printers from commercial, quickprint and inplant operations were introduced to the new Lanier print production systems team, and saw the pro C751 put through its paces.

A repeat launch will be held in Melbourne next week with AFL legends on hand.

The new printers are manufactured by Ricoh, printing at 75 and 65 pages a minute respectively, with a monthly duty cycle of some 180,000 pages. They join the Pro C901 in Lanier’s range, which prints at 90ppm and will cater for up to 350,000 pages a month.

Raj Chandiok, national production print systems manager says, “The Lanier differential is the complete solution we provide, including hardware, software, workflow, service packages and finance packages.”

Joe Ciliberto, national sales and marketing manager says, “Lanier is looking at four cohesive qualities of the print business; capture, prepress, management and output. We are not just about the hardware but about efficient end to end production solutions.”

The Footy Legends on hand included veteran Steve Edge from St George in the ‘60s and ‘70s who proved to be a natural entertainer, as well as Paul Langmack from the Canterbury Bulldogs of the 80s and 90s and Adam ‘Mad Dog’ MacDougall of the Newcastle Knights.

Also presenting was Gordon Long from Docmasters in Brookvale, who has just installed a Pro C751 and a monochrome 1357EX.
