Last days to register for EFI and Currie Group open house

Currie Group and EFI will soon host an open house week, from April 12 to April 16, showcasing the latest EFI wide format product offerings, including its Pro 32r+, to customers.

The event will run at Currie Group’s Melbourne headquarters in Hawthorn and there are four session times to choose from each day – 9.30am, 11.30am, 2.00pm and 4.00pm.

The open house event is open to everyone in the industry, but bookings by appointment are essential and can be done using this link.

The sessions will cover a live demonstration of the latest EFI Pro 32r+ as well as introduce EFI’s extended range of wide format products, such as the Pro 30f flatbed printer and the VUTEk 32h and Pro 16h hybrid printers.

Currie Group’s recently appointed wide format business unit manager Paul Whitehead said, “We’re very excited to introduce new customers to Currie Group and those that are already part of our family to the EFI wide format portfolio.

“This new addition to the Australian and New Zealand wide format market, combines EFI’s state-of-the-art, leading technology with Currie Group’s premium service and support.

“Please visit us at our open house where you will experience this firsthand and find out more about our market introductory offers.”

The EFI Pro 32r+ is a wide format roll-to-roll LED press that aims to provide printers with added capacity, offer customers a wider range of applications, and lower operating costs with efficient ink and energy consumption.

The 3.2m press runs at speeds of up to 256 sqm/hr and features fifth-generation printheads with 7pL UltraDrop Technology, CMYK and optional white or clear ink capabilities, as well as a resolution of up to 847 true dpi.

It also features a built-in Fiery digital system on the front end, including FAST RIP acceleration technology, in addition to RIP and print on demand functionality, or the ability to print pre-ripped files at the printer interface.

Brilliantly designed ‘cool cure’ LED technology is included, empowering users with the ability to do more for less as it increases profit opportunities by offering more premium margin jobs while reducing operating costs and an environmental footprint.

The open house follows EFI and Currie Group’s recent partnership forged in January, described by EFI Asia-Pacific vice-president of sales Rodd Harrison as a “combination of two powerhouses”.

Most recently, EFI also launched its new VUTEk Q3r and Q5r UV LED printers, the XT hybrid printer, and a new single-pass for display graphics printer.
