Latest colour proofing software at Kayell

Robert Gatto, director of Kayell says the latest software is the next step in colour proofing and features advancements in workflow and calibration for Epson, HP and Canon printers.

He says, “The thought process behind this latest version of ColorProof is that proofing should be about standards. When you buy it you get everything that is necessary to print to the ISO standard.”

Gatto continues, “The software is designed to be very simple for the end user, other products on the market can be complex and therefore limiting the amount of calibration done. The more you calibrate the better your colour will be.”

With the ColorProof o5, 75 per cent of the typical tasks can now be directly handled when files are selected for proofing. Every job is displayed on the user interface and can be treated, according to GMG Color.

The company continues that the software selects automatically the profile and calibration for a certain printer including the appropriate paper. If the parameters do not match the actual settings, the job is automatically stopped for checking.
