LIA looks at the future of proofing

During his presentation Skarpetis will seek to answer whether printers will always hold a proof in our hand or will they be looking at a monitor in the future.

He will also give participants a insight into the current early adopters, the benefits and whether soft proofing could be implemented side by side with hard proofing and if there a financial benefit.

The event running under the tag line “Is Proofing Going Soft” is a collaboration between the LIA, Serendipity Software and Kayell Australia.

According to organisers, Skarpetis has been at the forefront of proofing technology ever since it became digital and has presented this topic at international seminars. A questions and answer session will follow the presentation.
