LIA NSW to host IVE Silverwater plant tour and dinner

The Lithographic Institute of Australia (LIA) NSW branch will soon be hosting a plant tour and dinner at IVE’s Silverwater premises on 5 October.

LIA said the event provides the industry with an opportunity to have an up-close look at the site and to learn more about its journey and future.

“The dust has settled on what was a massive undertaking following the acquisition of Ovato and subsequent integration into IVE to create one great company. This is your chance to have a look under the hood at one of the best Sydney sites, to see how it all works,” LIA NSW said.

“We are pleased to be welcomed by the IVE Print Management team who will be our hosts for the evening. On the night, you will be able to view the IVE Silverwater Web Press site, with all the newly integrated equipment, along with the chance to see its large, state-of-the-art commercial print area.

“At the conclusion of the tour, you are invited to join us for dinner where the evening will be bookended with a presentation from Darryl Meyer, CEO of print-web offset. This evening promises to provide a great insight into the business and operations.”

The IVE Silverwater plant tour will commence at 5pm, at 83 Derby Street, Silverwater.

This will be followed by dinner at 7.30pm at the Carnarvon Golf Club in Lidcombe.

The cost of the event is $65 for LIA members and $70 for non-members.
