manroland expands online parts service in A/NZ

manroland is expanding its online parts purchasing and delivery service in Australia, allowing its Australian and New Zealand customers to orders parts online and save money.

The world’s second largest manufacturer of printing systems and the world’s biggest provider of web offset can provide local customers with individualised price lists for parts stored at its Sydney warehouse. The service is based on the European online site, the company said.

manroland said it could offer printers lower prices through the online store than through traditional channels due to the lower cost of doing business via the internet. It is also available 24/7 to ensure faster delivery.

Parts are arranged by catalogue numbers alongside their images to make ordering easier.

manroland customers already using the online parts service include News Ltd, Fairfax, PMP and Hannanprint.
