Media Super’s Virginia Flint adds ACT region to her NSW focus

Media Super business development manager Virginia Flint has added Canberra and the ACT to her regions of responsibility for the superannuation fund, in addition to her pre-existing territories of northern Sydney and northern NSW.

Flint says she is looking forward to spending time in the ACT and meeting with business owners and employees from the printing and graphic design sectors.

“I’m thrilled to be taking on the responsibilities in the ACT and have the opportunity to visit that area and be its point of contact for Media Super,” Flint told Sprinter.

“We are a little bit different as a super fund as we have a dedicated person, like myself, in each region so we are building relationships and helping directly with any queries that employers and employees may have.

“We have an employer helpline and a member helpline but having this direct point of contact also helps and gives us a point of difference.”

Media Super regional manager, growth for NSW, Queensland and ACT John Myers said the expansion of Flint’s responsibilities is a direct reflection of her aptitude, dedication, integrity and professionalism.

“Virginia is keen to take on the new opportunity to increase our presence, the level of service provided to existing clients, both individual members and businesses, and grow the Canberra footprint for the fund, in terms of new potential businesses,” Myers said.

It’s a natural key step in her leadership development to take a pro-active ownership of an important territory like the Nation’s Capital.”

Flint, along with Myers and Stephen Assimo, the regional manager, growth for Victoria, SA, WA, NT and Tasmania, will be in attendance at next Wednesday’s Print2Parliament event in Canberra.

Peter Cleary, who also looks after western and south western Sydney for Media Super, will also be in Canberra for the event.
