Fry’s business card was drawn out of the hat by drupa project director Manuel Matare at the Melbourne drupa Roadshow, held the day after the Sydney event where Allprint general manager Grant Cunningham also won a free drupa trip.
Fry decalred himself thrilled with the prize, saying, “I was intending to go to drupa anyway, so this is a real bonus. I went in 2008 for the first time and found it an invaluable time, but this time I will make sure I am there for much longer.

Printers at the Melbourne drupa Roadshow heard Matare highlight the size and importance of drupa, and inviting them to enjoy the favourable exchange rate on the evenings out.
Four local industry leaders gave presentations opportunities in print: Adrian Fleming, managing director of Kodak Australia highlighted digital opportunities and automated workflow, Alastair Hadley, sales director of Heidelberg ANZ, focused on offset opportunities and offset / digital integration; Simon Wheeler, managing director of Excel Australasia gave an impassioned presentation on opportunities for print businesses.
