Mezographics installs first swissQprint Kudu with Neon

Frank Mezo at Mezographics with the swissQprint Kudu.

This week Mezographics started the install of its swissQprint Kudu with neon print capability, the first in the southern hemisphere.

The team from Pozitive was working on the Mezographic print floor, assembling the impressive piece of printing hardware, adding to Mezographics’ growing print technology offering.

Frank Mezo welcomed Sprinter through the door to check out the new Kudu, the second only to be installed in Australia after Allprint Graphics received theirs in Sydney last month.

Mezo told Sprinter it is an essential addition to Mezographic’s print offering due to its high print quality.

“It fills the gap between high-end productivity and quality. It gives us that very high-end quality but with enough production speed,” said Mezo.

Neon inks

Although Mezographics can boast the first swissQPrint Kudu with neon specialty ink, Mezo said that was not the primary purpose of purchasing the machine.

“It was more about the extremely high-quality gap; the neon is a bonus.”

Mezo said he has told his clients about his new piece of hardware and hopes it will increase his productivity and boost his business.

“That is always the hope,” says Mezo.

The installation will take a few days, and the new neon ink will be laid down at the end of the week. Mezo said his brand-new Kudu will be ready for business on Friday when the Pozitive tech team do the final handover.
