As well a speed of 15,000 impressions are reached by the new Lithrone 28 (520 x 720 mm) and Lithrone 26P (480 x 660 mm) which show improved performance, as Yamane says. Formats up to 530 x 750 mm can be used in the new Spica 29P, a four-colour reversible perfector, which can lay down four colours in one pass or two colours front and back. The press has CIP4-capability and is as efficient in terms of ROI and productivity as its older sister the Spica 26P, explains Yamane. This results in a speed of up to 13,000 s/h single sided or 11,000 s/h double sided.
