Graphics Marketing Australia (GMA) and Hurst Business Brokers (HBB) both of whom have extensive industry and business broking experience, have joined forces to offer a comprehensive service for the industry.
“Our industry experience is what sets us apart,” says Richard Rasmussen, GMA Director. “HBB has 30 years experience in manufacturing business brokering, and GMA has more than 20 years experience in sales and marketing in the printing and graphic arts sector. That wealth of knowledge and experience enables us to understand the idiosyncrasies of the market, something that is not available with other business broking services.”
Rasmussen is well known and respected having worked in the industry with Heidelberg Australia for more than 20 years in sales and marketing management roles. More recently he teamed up with colleague Stan Solomidis in G Force Business Solutions, a successful consultancy managing graphic arts clients in the Asia Pacific region.
HBB, whose client portfolio spans manufacturing, engineering and a variety of professional sectors, will bring a superior level of broking expertise to the new service.
“A lot of business opportunities never make it into the public domain,” says Rasmussen. “Our network and industry knowledge has enabled us to develop what is already a comprehensive resource – a national database of clients wishing to buy, sell or merge their business.”
“There are so many factors to consider when entering into mergers and acquisitions,” he continues. “Many prospective sellers or buyers don’t know where to start. That’s where our business consultancy and brokering services comes in.”
“We ensure complete discretion and confidentiality throughout the process. Our service includes preparing the business for sale, targeting and qualifying buyers, providing confidentiality agreements, managing the release of information and negotiating the transaction. Above all, our clients can rely on down to earth, realistic and actionable strategies to support them now and in the future. That coupled with our business and marketing consultancy services helps us provide the framework for our clients to achieve their goals,” Rasmussen concludes.
