New Horizon finishing line for Maxam

Maxam installed a Horizon finishing package, which includes a Horizon double tower collator and stitcher, a SPF-200/FC-200A stitcher folder and trimmer unit, an AFC-566FG fully automatic folder with a GFB-56 gate buckle fold unit, and a BQ-160 PUR single clamp perfect binder with inline CRB-160 creaser unit.

Trevor Cotterill, director, Maxam Printing told Australian Printer, “The new equipment gives us more control over deadlines and a better quality product. With the support of the Currie Group, there was really no other brand we could consider. “

Cotterill says the equipment is easy to set up and user friendly, he says, “The machines are reliable and the production speed is impressive.”

The new equipment will be used for booklet making, folding and perfect binding, Cotterill says his staff of seven has already taken to the user friendly equipment, which is being used for booklet making, folding and perfect binding.

Cotterill says, “We also have two and four colour Ryobi and Heidelberg GTO presses which allows us to be more competitive in this industry.”
