The Kompac Automatic Dampening System replaces Diamond dampeners or Epic dampeners made by Dahlgren. Day says that the systems are superior in quality and performance and interface completely with the electrical systems on the press, turning on automatically when the press is on and turning off automatically when the press is shut down.

The Kompac system can be used with an existing recirculator or one that is added. It is currently available for one colour presses and soon will be available for two colour presses.
