Baker (pictured) comes to the position after management roles at GBC Australia, The Laminating Company, Transparent Technology, and Paper Coaters. His last position was in the transparent technology division of Allkotes.

Baker said he is looking to bring his wide experience in the plastics-cum-printing world to Graph-Pak.

“I’m looking forward to it, it should be very interesting,” Baker said.

Graph-Pak will also open an office and warehouse in Melbourne early next year, with managing director Tom Ralph saying the new facility will “complement our engineering by adding the supply of consumables such as laminating films, banding tapes and varnished and other pressroom consumables”.

Ralph says they have chosen a location in the suburb of Moorabbin.
