Version 3.0 of Synapse UpFront expands the JDF data imported from MIS to JDF 1.1a and can now export the data back to MIS. Other new features include new cutting styles and support for 5, 7, 9. 12 and 16 sections per layout plan.
The latest version of Preps, 5.0 features support for Mac OS X, SmartMarks for creation and edition of templates as well Acrobat 6 and QuarkXPress 6 compatibility between others.
The new version of Pandora, 6.0, features between others a preview window that allows users to review artwork.
A new module within the Synapse workflow family, Synapse Director will be introduced at drupa. It allows users to create, manage and automate their end-to-end print production workflow systems and was specially developed to enhance the new version of Brisque 5.0. It builds an efficient and collaborative working environment that managed and tracks the production processes across multiple Brisques.
Version 5.0 of Brisque, to be shown at drupa, will features some new capabilities such as JDF-based automated ink-key presetting with InkPRO Software, PDF tools including Creo PDF Traüpper, Creo PDF PreFlight with vector output and flattener for PDF 1.5, preview options from Mac or PC clients of PostScript, PDF, Brisque files and Brisque Imposition files as well as ICC support in pre-flight, proofing and the RIP and full support of Staccato screening.
The exhibition will also see the launch of the latest version of Prinergy 2.3 which among others, features automated pre-flight checking, connection to digital presses, imposed PDF output, support for multiple color databases for Staccato Extended Colour Screens and Spotless printing options.
