Nilpeter expands Asia Pacific operations

label press manufacturer, Nilpeter, has announced an expanded Asian Operations group responsible for operations in Australasia, the Indian subcontinent and elsewhere in Asia.

Customers and agents in Australia and New Zealand will gain closer contact with Nilpeter and benefit from the company’s in-depth understanding of local markets and business operations.

Kim-Regin Sustmann, general manager of Asia Pacific Operations at Nilpeter, assumes full responsibilities for the expanded operations group.

“During my years with Nilpeter in the south east Asian region, I have got to know firsthand many Nilpeter customers and partners, not only in Asia but also in Australia and New Zealand”, says Sustmann.

“I look forward to developing these relationships even more in my expanded role, which marks the start of Nilpeter’s increasing focus on the entire Australasian region”.

Jesper Jørgensen, who was previously responsible for the Australia and New Zealand regions, was recently appointed global sales manager at Nilpeter.

“Given the distance separating these countries and Nilpeter’s worldwide headquarters in Denmark, our aim is to bring Nilpeter to the doorstep of the people we deal with in this region. The formation of a locally focused operations group is the ideal way to do this,” Jørgensen explains.

The Asia Pacific Operations group will be based in Nilpeter’s branch office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This office, which opened in 2002, has been Nilpeter’s south east Asian sales and service centre and includes a showroom for the display of Nilpeter presses.

Closely supporting the group will be Nilpeter’s local agents in the region, Intergrafica Print & Pack (IPP), who provide both local sales teams and technical specialists in their respective countries.
