PacPrint Q&A: Canon Australia

Steven Badger

Product manager, Professional Print

Canon Australia

When was your company's first PacPrint?

Both Canon and Océ's first show was in 2005.

Can you name any milestone launches at previous PacPrints?

Océ showcased the Arizona 350 XT with the ProCut cutting solution for the first time at PacPrint09. Canon Australia unveiled the ImagePress 1110, 1125 and 1135 at PacPrint09.

Can you name any milestone sales at previous PacPrints?

Over the past two PacPrints, we have sold all our display graphic's exhibits during the show, including our first ProCut finishing system to Poster Graphics in Sydney.

PacPrint or PrintEx – what’s your favourite?

As we are in the heavy machinery business, the longer build-up time at PacPrint is more favourable. The build-up time at PrintEx is too short and limits what we can show.

How can customers get the most out of PacPrint?

The customers who interact with the exhibitors and ask lots of questions will get the most out of PacPrint. It’s a great way for customers to network with suppliers and competitors.

How will you entice customers to invest?

By showcasing solutions that will benefit not only their business processes but also their bottom line.

What will you be showing at PacPrint13?

A wide variety of printing and finishing technologies covering wide format, continuous feed, cut sheet and software workflow solutions from Canon and its partners.

Can you give us any other hints about your stand or plans for the show?

No, it’s top secret. You’ll have to visit Canon on stand 3018!
