Payne Print buys fifth Heidelberg

Lyn Lawton, manager, Payne Printi says “We do a fair bit of book work and we have a contract in the mining industry with BHP, for which we produce safety tags, log books and safety equipment in general, so that keeps us busy.”

The machine is on its way from Germany and Lawton is expecting Payne Print’s workload to be much easier now. She says, “We find the Heidelberg to be a good machine, we couldn’t go past it. We looked at other options but at the end the Heidelberg was the perfect choice and we are expecting it to be installed as soon as possible.”

Payne Print is a family business and is run by two brothers and two sisters, and has a staff of 22.

The Heidelberg GTO is the world’s biggest selling offset press and celebrates 40 years in the market this month, with the Heidelberg GTO having its launch back in 1972 and still going strong under the PrintMaster GTO moniker.
