PCA calls for 2004 Awards entries

The theme for the 2004 Australian Packaging Awards is “Packaging – A Lifesaver”.

These national Awards provide companies with the opportunity to highlight their excellence and professionalism. The Awards recognise and reward outstanding achievement in the field of packaging.

The individual categories cover: Plastics Packaging; Sustainable Packaging; Family of Packages; Consumer Acceptability (recognising packages that are mindful of people that have difficulty opening packs etc); Glass; Industrial Packaging; Labelling; Metal Packaging; Design Innovation; Folding Cartons; Aesthetics; Packaging the Brand; Export Success; Technical Innovation and the National Packaging Covenant Action Plan Category (focusing this year on achievements with individual company Action Plans).

The 2003 Awards winners ranged from the range of Ponds Products, to an industrial reusable container for fresh produce from Sunbeam Foods that can be used to transport goods from 50kg to 150kg, the new Selleys Silicone Sealant Range and a range of other products.
