Chief financial officer Richard Allely will step in as interim CEO, whilst non executive director Ian Fraser is said to be assisting Allely with his duties.

The company said it was “reviewing the structure of its senior executive team” in light of the global financial crisis.

The search for Evans’ full-time replacement is expected to be completed by the end of April.
