The black tie event will be held at
the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 24, where the money raised
will be used to support charities in Queensland.
Last year the Zig Zag Foundation rose over $400,000 towards essential services
provided by charities for sick, underprivileged and at-risk children.
Andrew Robertson, coordinator of
Worldwide Online Printing's sponsorship says the participating business from
the Brisbane
metro and CBD area will be donating the printing of everything from raffle
tickets to programmes.
Robertson says, "We've also expanded
our sponsorship since last year to a full corporate partnership – so we're not
only printing material for the ball, but providing free print to Zig Zag
throughout the whole year and for several other fundraising events."
Worldwide now has 88 local print and design centres
throughout Australia
and it claims to be one of the county's fastest growing print franchises.
Michelle Lawson, founder and director
of Zig Zag, says to run the ball and make money for chosen charities, the
foundation relies on the generosity of local business sponsors, volunteers and
attendees.
Lawson says, "We're grateful to have
Worldwide on board for the Zig Zag Ball again this year. The quality of the
print work Worldwide provides gives our event such a professional and fun
image."
