Printer finalist in Telstra Business Awards

The company specialises in printing, graphic design and other printing related services for the east coast of Australia.

To be eligible for the MYOB Small Business Award a company must have between six and 20 employees, and to be eligible for the Sensis Social Responsibility Award a company must demonstrate leadership and a contribution to the environment, people, education or the community.

Deena Shiff, group managing director of Telstra Business says hundreds of entries were received for this year’s Awards.

“We have uncovered some great success stories this year, and are looking forward to celebrating Australia’s most successful enterprises at these Awards which truly celebrate the entrepreneurial Aussie spirit.”

Established in 1983, Queensland Complete Printing Services has grown to a staff of 17 and offers a number of specialised printing services.

The team comprises of both client managers and designers to service clients’ individual needs. The company says it takes a strong interest in sustainability, training staff to use soy inks as well as harvesting water and recycling around 95 per cent of all waste from it factory and office.

Shiff also says that the Telstra Business Awards has encouraged thousands of Australian businesses to greater success since its inception in 1992, and is dedicated to recognising the achievements of SMEs across the country.

The current finalists span across a number of different industries and were chosen from the hundreds of entries received nationally. The winners will be announced on Friday September 12, in Brisbane.
