Printman Colour Group upgrades workflow

Melbourne-based Printman Colour Group has invested in ElecRoc workflow software, supplied by Australian Graphic Servicing (AGS).

Printman Colour Group describes itself as a sustainable green printer, specialising in quality printed products at an affordable price, across digital and offset.

Ray Gardiner, director, Printman Colour Group, says, “The variety of modules, cost and the flexibility of the product was the main reasons for the upgrade to Founder ElecRoc workflow. We now have coated and uncoated proofs that match our press. The big advantage is our make ready times quicker with less wastage, all adding to the bottom line.

“AGS handled all parts of this installation form connecting all of the devices, proof profiles, imposition templates, managing dot gain on press through to operator training. The transition was seamless.”

Andrew Dunn, pre-press business development manager, says, “The Founder ElecRoc Integrated JDF/PDF Pre-Press Workflow product is a proven winner, and a new system structure to achieve more stability and higher processing efficiency.

“It has many new modules and functions, a more user friendly interface, and it is easier to operate. Job processing is more secure and file management is easier and more convenient.

“It is the best value workflow software system available anywhere in the word today with more than 3,000 installations.”

ElecRoc provides functionality required for job management, integrated JDF/PDF creation, pre-flight, trapping, imposition, PDF colour management, 3D preview, EcoInk, Hi-Fi printing, PDF compare, cooperative task management, load balancing, zone screen, CIP4 ink control, advanced screening, colour/screen proofing, remote proofing, and output device support.
