Private investor swoops on Waratah Brand Services

Waratah Brand Services, which was headed to Finsbury Green following Waratah Group’s collapse, has instead been picked up by a private investor and will continue to operate independently.

By the end of the year Waratah Brand Services will be known as Brand Services

Waratah Group, one of Melbourne’s largest printing and marketing companies went into external administration earlier this month leaving with Peter Orel’s Finsbury Green purchasing the client list, some equipment taking on the bulk of the staff.

Waratah Brand Services General Manager Elise Stevenson says,” “The intense interest showcases the strong demand for our brand and service offering. Our diverse portfolio of high-profile clients and long-term relationships was a key
consideration for investors.

“We are excited by this new chapter of our business as we are poised for further growth and expansion. However, it will remain business as usual for our current stable of valued clients.”

The new acquisition has also triggered the company’s rebrand with the business to be relaunched as Brand Services Pty Ltd by the end of the year.

Waratah Brand Services is an independent business that fell under the umbrella Waratah Group company and is now no longer affiliated with that business.

Brand Services offer end-to-end cloud based tools that automate manual processes, and help shift the focus back to growing your business.

When Waratah Group went into administration many staff were still waiting for their compulsory superannuation with some not being paid since July 2018.

  1. Interesting read on the ASIC website under their new name of “Waratah Brand Services”.
Could it possibly be an error that two of the previous directors of the recently failed “Waratah Group” are the directors of the new entity which was conveniently omitted from the story above ????
Go have a look people and you will be rightly angered !!!
Our industry needs to stand strong and ensure these people do not get the opportunity to start again……
